This blueberry compote is my go to breakfast when I want something that feels special but doesn't demand much effort. Fresh blueberries are packed with antioxidants that are wonderful for your body, and the whole thing comes together in just 20 minutes. The beauty of this recipe is its simplicity and how forgiving it is, plus you probably have most of these ingredients on hand already. Creamy almond butter on toasted sourdough with warm compote is genuinely one of my favorite ways to start the day, and I love sharing it with friends because it never fails to impress.
