This fig and onion spread is one of my favorite discoveries from last summer, and it's become a staple in my kitchen. Fresh Black Mission figs are naturally sweet and packed with fiber, making them a nutritious base for this elegant condiment. What I love most is how quick it comes together, taking just 45 minutes from start to finish with minimal prep work. The caramelized red onions balance the figs' sweetness with savory depth, while aged balsamic vinegar ties everything together beautifully. It's perfect on cheese boards, swirled into yogurt, or spread on warm bread. Trust me, once you make this, you'll be giving jars away to friends.
