Making fig preserves at home is easier than you might think, and I love sharing this recipe because it comes together in just about ninety minutes from start to finish. Fresh figs are wonderful this time of year, and they're packed with fiber which is great for digestion. The beauty of this recipe is that you probably have most of the ingredients already in your pantry, so it won't break the bank. Once you taste homemade preserves spread on warm toast, you'll never go back to the store bought version.
