Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease two 20cm (8-inch) round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter until creamy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Tip: Make sure to scrape down the sides of the bowl after each addition.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the orange juice, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Beat just until combined.

Pour the melted chocolate ganache over one of the cooled cakes and top with the second cake. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the ganache.
