Every single year for the past decade, I've made these Lucky Charms treats for my kids' school events, and honestly, they never last long. The recipe couldn't be simpler with just three ingredients, which means you can whip up a batch in about ten minutes flat. Butter is packed with fat soluble vitamins that help your body absorb nutrients better, so you're getting a little nutritional boost with each bite. What I love most is how quick and budget friendly they are compared to store bought versions. Trust me, once you make these, you'll understand why they've become my go to recipe.

Instructions
- 1
Coat a 9x9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray. You can also line the pan with a piece of parchment paper that extends over 2 sides to act as a sling for removing the treats.
- 2
Pick out about a cup of marshmallows from the cereal and set aside to top the finished treats.
- 3
Set a large pot or dutch oven over medium heat. Add the butter and cook until completely melted, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the bag of mini marshmallows and salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until the marshmallows are melted, about 3 minutes.
- 4
Remove the pot from the heat and add the cereal. Stir quickly, making sure all the cereal is coated in the marshmallow mixture. Carefully scrape the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to press the treats evenly into the pan. Top the treats with the reserved marshmallows, pressing them down gently so they stick.

Let the treats cool for at least 1 hour before cutting into squares. Leftover treats can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container. They taste best eaten within 3 days of making, but last up to 7 days at room temperature. Love the recipe? Leave us stars and a comment below!
