- 12 gbaking soda
- 6 gsalt
- 200 ggranulated sugar
- 100 gbrown sugar
- 150 gunsalted butter
- 120 gtreacle
- 2 egglarge eggs
- 120 mlplain milk
- 2 mlvanilla extract
- 150 gchopped pecans
- 100 gdark chocolate chips

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, cream together the sugar, butter, and treacle until light and fluffy.

Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the milk and vanilla extract.

Scoop out tablespoon-sized balls of dough and place them onto the prepared baking tray.
